StrangerHop offers random, one-to-one text conversations between people aged 18 or older. These terms and our community guidelines apply when you use the service. Read them before acknowledging the entry rules.

You must be at least 18, complete the required bot and age checks, and agree to the current entry rules. Do not bypass checks, impersonate another person, share account access, or evade a participation restriction. An account is optional; protect its sign-in details.
A live age check is required before matching. The provider explains its own processing and choices before you complete that check. A place in the beta is not reserved while you verify.
Respect the other person
No harassment, threats, hate, explicit sexual content or sexual solicitation, scams, spam, impersonation, illegal material, or attempts to expose private information. Do not use bots, interfere with the service, or try to access another person’s session. Leave if you do not want to continue.
You are responsible for what you send. Allow StrangerHop and its service providers to process your messages only as needed to deliver and moderate the conversation, handle reports, and operate the service as described in the privacy notice.
Moderation and restrictions
Messages are checked before delivery. A message may be blocked, and delivery pauses when checks are unavailable or the beta’s allowance is exhausted. Automated decisions can be wrong. Reports are reviewed by an authorized moderator, who can dismiss a report or restrict participation. Reporting and blocking are separate actions.
You can ask for review of a restriction or moderation mistake. Review is manual and does not automatically remove a restriction. This service is not an emergency service and is not monitored continuously.
A small beta, with limits
The public beta allows up to 20 active chat participants, including people waiting or reconnecting. Availability, successful matching, and uninterrupted delivery are not guaranteed. You may need to wait, retry later, or repeat an expired check. Features or entry may pause for maintenance, safety, or provider limits.
There is no conversation history to revisit. Ordinary messages expire within 24 hours and are removed earlier when the room ends. Report evidence is kept separately for 30 days. Someone who receives a message can copy it; avoid sending personal or sensitive information.
Leaving and changes to these terms
You can stop using StrangerHop at any time. Signing out ends your visit; it is not an account-deletion request. See data and deletion requests for further choices.
We will publish updated terms with their date and request a new entry acknowledgment when the participation rules change. These terms do not remove rights you have under applicable law.
