Room for both people.
Our community guidelines help keep conversations respectful and non-explicit.
Adults only. Respect, always.
StrangerHop is for people aged 18 or older. Everyone must complete the entry checks and agree to these guidelines before matching.
Respect the person you meet.
Be respectful, even when you disagree. Harassment, threats, hate, bullying, and attempts to intimidate someone have no place here.
Keep it non-explicit.
This is a space for general conversation, not explicit sexual content or sexual solicitation. Respect boundaries immediately. Do not pressure anyone into a topic or activity.
Keep personal details private.
Avoid sharing your address, phone number, financial details, or anything that identifies you or someone else. Do not ask for private information, share another person’s details, or attempt to identify them.
Be yourself.
Do not impersonate another person, run scams, send spam, or use bots to overwhelm the space. An anonymous conversation is still a conversation between real people.
Leave when you need to.
You can leave a conversation at any time. If someone crosses a boundary, use Report or block, or end the chat. If anyone faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
How moderation works.
Messages are checked before they reach your partner. Harassment, threats, hate, and explicit sexual content can be blocked. If safety checks are unavailable, messages are not delivered. You can leave a conversation whenever you need to.
Automated checks can make mistakes. Use Report and leave to select delivered partner messages for moderator review. Selected messages and up to ten nearby context messages, including yours, are retained for 30 days.
If you think a restriction or blocked message is wrong, ask for a review. You can also contact the operator about a safety concern. The service is not monitored continuously.
Reporting does not automatically block someone or restrict their participation. A moderator can dismiss a report or restrict participation for up to 24 hours or seven days, bounded by the report’s expiry. An existing longer restriction remains in place. Your age check is not changed by a restriction.
Block and leave prevents this pair from matching for 30 days and does not save a report. Blocks follow your account, or apply to your guest visit, with up to 100 active blocks. Someone using a new identity may still be matched with you.
